So no pics for day 3. We boarded a ferry in Portig on Islay headed for the mainland Kennacraig on the Mull of Kintyre. From Kennacraig we had a 5 hour drive to Huntley in the east Highlands. A very long uneventful day but worth it for the time spent on Islay.

Still House at Ardbeg. Ardbeg was the first distillery we visited on the trip. It certainly set the tone for an amazing trip. Thanks to Jackie and the Moet Hennessy folks in the US for making it possible.

The Loch and K(e)y Society ended up picking 2 casks for bottling. The winners were Cragganmore 21 in a single hogs head and a Glenturret 18 yearold finished in Pedro Jiminez. They will be available at Loch and K(e)y outlets later this fall…
TOOLS OF THE TRADE
Heading to Scotland tomorrow… Going to visit a bunch of distilleries and pick some casks for US bottling…
